This week, we are going in Québec to discover the Parc Régional de la Rivière Gentilly.
Located in Center-du-Québec, this park allows you to discover a multitude of activities with your dog, cat and even on horseback!
In order to keep your animals welcome in this park, it is important to be aware of a few rules to follow:
You must keep your pet on a leash at all times.
Animals are not accepted in ready-to-camp and in cabins 1-4-5, but are welcome in cabins 2, 3 and 6.
Animals are accepted on the hiking trails, but they are not allowed on the mountain bike trails and on the equestrian trails.
You must pick up the natural gifts of your animal please.
Your animal must behave properly and not disturb other campers or visitors.
The Gentilly River Regional Park reserves the right to expel an aggressive animal or one that has disturbing behavior.
Dogs and cats are allowed on the campgrounds. They must be kept on a leash at all times.
Owners are required to collect their pet's droppings.
Dogs have access to hiking trails, but prohibited on mountain bike and horseback trails.
Out of respect for other users, we ask that you leave your pet outside the common buildings.
We ask you not to let your dog bark abusively. He should be calm and non-aggressive at all times.
Take full advantage
Access to this park can be done all year round, so you will enjoy beautiful walks in summer, and also snowshoe trips in winter!
In order to encourage the work done to keep this park so beautiful, the entrance fees are:
$ 8 for adults,
$ 4 for children aged 6 to 17,
$ 20 for families,
You can also purchase an Annual Membership Card at a cost of $ 50.
You will find 6 magnificent trails, of varying difficulty, to walk with your dogs. But also, take advantage of the 6 campsites and 4 very beautiful chalets which also welcome your animals. From the most rustic places to campsites dedicated to recreational vehicles only, you will find your dream place to rest.
It goes without saying that during the pandemic, we kindly ask you to well prepare your expeditions and to obtain more information from Parc Régional de la Rivière Gentilly to ensure the opening of everything that interests you.
